For Dalton, better known online as Degen Dalt, gambling isn’t just a hobby — it’s in his DNA. Growing up, his father worked as a pit boss in a casino and spent countless hours playing online poker and watching it on TV. Naturally, Dalton was immersed in the world of cards and chips from a young age. By 10 years old, he could already hold his own in poker and blackjack, learning not just the games, but the culture, energy, and adrenaline that came with them.
In August 2021, everything changed. For his 21st birthday, Dalton and his friends took a broke-college-kid-style trip to Las Vegas, staying at the MGM Grand and sharing one cramped room. He lost $500 and was devastated — but something clicked. The lights, the noise, the energy... Las Vegas felt like home. That trip sparked a vision. He didn’t know how or when, but he knew he wanted to be a part of that world.
At the time, Dalton was a pre-med student at Temple University, on track for PA or med school. But after graduating in May 2022, something didn’t feel right. The medical path wasn’t his passion. He wanted to create content — he just didn’t know what that looked like yet.
Just one month after graduating, Dalton returned home and found himself at the Wind Creek Casino in Bethlehem, PA. He sat down at a blackjack table with two women who asked him to cut the deck. On just the second hand, one of them hit the Blazing 7s Progressive Jackpot for $560,000, and tipped him nearly $10,000. Dalton pulled out his phone and recorded the moment, even as the floor and security told him to stop. He had a feeling. That video went viral, 2.5 million views on TikTok, and millions more across other platforms. Watching the numbers rise in real time, Dalton knew: this is what I want to do.

He spent the next year deep in thought, playing, learning, and plotting his next move. In May 2023, after a frustrating blackjack session where another player’s bad call cost him a huge hand, inspiration struck. He called his dad, dug up an old blackjack felt from the basement, and made a skit reenacting the moment. It was raw, terrible acting, poorly lit, and the felt was dusty and wrinkled. But it blew up. That’s when Degen Dalt was born.
From that day on, Dalton committed to the grind. He created content every single day for six months straight, no breaks. He developed characters like “Greg the Dealer,” upgraded his setup with a professional blackjack table, expanded to YouTube and Instagram, and built a unique blend of comedy, casino culture, and storytelling that resonated with audiences everywhere.
Today, Degen Dalt is a worldwide name in the gambling content world, with over 300,000 subscribers on YouTube, and another 400,000+ followers across TikTok, Instagram, and more. His content mixes real casino action with relatable skits, entertaining stories, and the occasional wild jackpot moment.
Behind the scenes, Dalton credits much of his success to his parents. His dad not only inspired his love of gambling, but also dealt the cards in many early videos and still helps brainstorm ideas and scripts to this day. His mom has been his number one supporter, and relieves the majority of the outside stress to make sure he has ultimate focus on building his brand. Without them, Degen Dalt wouldn’t be what it is now.

Hit 10,000 followers on TikTok. That’s when I knew the skits were clicking. I invested in a blackjack table to level up the content and expanded to Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms.
Went all in—quit my job, turned down med school, and moved to Florida to focus on content full-time. I put everything on the line because I knew this was where the real opportunity was.
Hit 100,000 subscribers on YouTube. This was my first “I made it” moment—an achievement I once thought was out of reach.
Filmed my first live blackjack session at the Hard Rock Hollywood. The video pulled in over 500,000 views and opened the door for future filming opportunities. It marked my evolution from comedy skits to real-life gambling content.
Exactly one year later, I became the second person ever to film at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. I turned $5,000 into $45,000—my biggest filmed win at the time.
Achieved my biggest win ever at Coco Creek Casino, turning $6,000 into $61,000 during a recorded blackjack session. This monumental win not only solidified my status as a top-tier gambling influencer but also marked a pivotal moment in my journey, showcasing the culmination of years of dedication, strategy, and passion for the game.
